Fellas: When dealing with an independent woman you can not deal with her by attempting to match her aggressiveness. First, you will neeeeever out talk her (thats playing into her dysfunction, yes ladies I said it). Secondly, shes already prepared for an aggressive response (it feeds the idea that you are not paying attention to her needs). Instead, respond to her using loving words with patience. Does this mean you have to get ran over? No, but you can not place yourself in the position of an opponent, when you want her to see you as a confidant. Forcefully tell her when she is out of line, but make sure you are drawing her with the same loving kindness God draws you. If the you consistently do this, she will either leave you and regret it (shes not ready to handle her own dysfunction) or she will realize you are the man sent in her life to take off the heavy burden she now carries.
