Moms and dads who have the liberty to reside, work, travel, shop and entertain where they choose, must also have the liberty to choose to send their children to quality schools that best meet their needs, without strings attached other than to assure that children are taught and trained to be upright citizens who follow the law of the land. Parents are best equipped and most responsible to choose the education that best meets the needs of every individual child. You can set the tone for all 50 states by sponsoring and championing the proposed D.C. Civil Rights Act for Equal Educational Opportunity, based firmly on the life’s work of the late, world-renowned economist Milton Friedman.
