Fellow Sierra Leoneeans home and abroad. Our partners in the fight against Ebola. Today, I prepare this little statement, to show our sincerest appreciation to those who have contributed and those who are still contributing to the fight against Ebola. Instead of giving ourselves reasons why we cant, we give our selves reasons why we can. It doesnt matter how many say it cannot be done or how many people have tried it before; its important to realize that whatever were doing, its our first attempt at it. When things go beyond our control as they sometimes will, When the road were traveling seems all up hill, When the funds in country are low and the debts are high And we want to smile, but you have to sigh, When care is pressing us down to the extreme, Rest if we must, but lets dont quit. Life is queer with its twists and turns, As every one of us sometimes learns, And many a failure turns about When we might have won had we stuck it out; Lets dont give up though the pace seems slow-- We may succeed with another try, Success is failure turned inside out-- The silver tint of the clouds of doubt, And we never can tell how close we are, It may be near when it seems so far; So stick to the fight when youre hardest hit-- Its when things seem worst that we must not quit. There are moments when troubles enter our lives and we can do nothing to avoid them. But they are there for a reason. Only when we have overcome them will we understand why they were there. So, Sierra Leoneeans home and abroad, West Africa Nations, lets us all have a unique sense of humor to stand up and destroy Ebola once and for all...and for future generations. Experience is not what happens to us as a nation; it is what we do with what happens to us. To those who gave up their lives for their country to save the lives of fellow citizens. ..may the lights of paradise ever shine upon you. To those who have given up their lives in the battle fields to defend and destroy Ebola. .we pray Gods hands to be upon you. To those who have provided our nation with financial aid and human support, we thank you for your generous donations. To all of us who have one way or the other have contributed to the fight against Ebola, may God bless us. If we have made mistakes, there is always another chance for us. We may have a fresh start any moment we choose, for this thing we call failure is not the falling down, but the staying down. Thank you all for helping our beloved and beautiful nation to defeat Ebola. This is my little way to say thank you for helping us improve our Sierra Leone and Africa as a whole.
