Fellow authors - Having worked within the film industry at various levels over recent years I have been able to build up a fairly reasonable knowledge of how the system works. I have made a personal decision based on my experiences. I am withdrawing all contact from an authors community currently advertising the prospect of an authors book being turned into a feature film by virtue of the number of tweets made on twitter - together with a veiled invitation to contribute/donate towards the production - I have yet to meet a film or TV crew that determines production by virtue of such a criteria. Danny Kemps film is in production with a budget of $30,000,000 One of my scripts - not in production - carries a $50,000,000 production tag. They are feature films. No disrespect to those behind the project. I wish them success and a proper budget. My apologies but it is time someone spoke up and it is my personal decision.
