Fellow citizens!! you may never get to eat your dinner on a giant BA-sponsored platform tethered high in the sky above the sunburnt hordes on brighton beach.... you may never get to carnival in Port-of-Spain, and instead have to make do with a British version where it rains and everything stops at 7pm.... you may never get to see a baby panda cos the mothers can re-assimilate their unborn cubs (true!)... but you can round off your Bank Holiday by trailing yourself down to JAZZ NIGHT AT THE BEE’S MOUTH tonight where Luke “Emotional” Rattenbury (gtr) and Los “Maniacal” Thomas (drms) will be playing jazz-and-related-musics with fire and passion to bring a spring back to the step of even the most jaded hedonists among you, aided by me on bass, while the ever-genial ROBB HOGG dispenses quality liquors and good vibes and the creatures of the night shuffle warily out from their hiding places... celebrate the slow passing of the luminous summer, grab yer axe and come and sit in, we’re waiting... Bee’s Mouth Western Road 9pm-late.
