Fellow dog runner Erin has a question for you guys.... Any tips? I have been running with my dog since February. We live in California, so we do not run in the snow. Most runs are on asphalt or the sidewalk, with occasional trail runs. Now one of his pads is beginning to tear. Do you recommend dog shoes? If you do, any specific brand that you recommend? Any other suggestions on how to treat and protect his feet?
