Fellowship. 1 John 1:3-6 Walking in the light means walking with the light. How can it happen that we claim to walk in the light without the presence of the light itself? Fellowship with God allows us to have the His light in our lives which will therefore mean we walk in the light. Without the presence of God and fellowship with Him, we cannot walk in the light. What is fellowship? The Free Dictionary describes fellowship as ‘a state of sharing mutual interests, experiences and activities between companions’. It simply agreeing with your companion. Amos 3:3 asks ‘Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so?’. Fellowship is to agree with God. It is to agree with God in His divine intentions and purposes – not because we are forced to – but because we believe and agree that whatever He plans and decides must be right. He is the author of right and wrong, He alone has the right to judge what is good and what is not. Isaiah 40:14 declares ‘Whom did the Lord consult to enlighten Him, and who taught Him the right way? Who was it that taught Him knowledge or showed Him the path of understanding?’. Unlike other ‘gods’, it wasn’t decided for Him how things should be and what is and what isn’t. All that He does manifests His glory so that it may be known that Jehova Is God. Seek fellowship with God today – agree with in Him sending His son to die for you, agree with Him in His intention to give you divine healing, agree with Him in His word, in His discipline, in His love, in His holiness – agree with the light to walk with the light. Seek the light first. Blessings! Humble Regards, Ps. Tebatso Majane. Kingdom Connect 061 432 6718. kconnect.n@gmail @KconnectM
