Felt it was time to give an update on Alethea Phillips, my new wife...hooray. Wish the news was better but she continues to quickly slide away. As of today she is mostly blind, right side is inoperable, and harder and harder to understand/incoherent. I did get a couple little kisses on the cheek. The cot I got to sleep next to her is nice, and yesterday morning asked to get out of the house and see friends. Luckily Tom Daugherty & Jessica Lundquist Tessler showed up shortly after. We carved some sweet pumpkins as she slept in her wheelchair. She sleeps most of the time now. I she wont be able to see or understand any videos or cards you send at this time. We tried to get most of the voice msg and well wishes read to her in lucid moments but it was a bit emotionally overwhelming to her. Please still visit if you can but she gets tired easily and occassionally smiles. Just be prepared to see the person we love almost gone as the shell gives out. The nurse says less than a week before she is gone. Ill spare you all the indignant details of her suffering, but dont want to sugar coat it. Love all you -Aletheas new husband.
