Felt pretty chipper today...started out with a breakfast at Perkins shared with some good friends...AND... they had a 20% off coopin... :) I had eggs n sausage n breakfast taters (Only a few) no toast...Then on my way out of town I decided to stop and hose off the car...when I pulled into the car wash on Roosevelt there were three local police cars there and some guy being cuffed and stuffed....and they were all between me and the change machine...I asked one of the locals if I would be interfering getting my change and he so no and thanked me for asking and I went about my business... While hosing off the car I decided to hose out the mag wheels as well because the mud was really built up on them (A little A.D.D. kicked in) and so I deposited extra quarters and really gave them a good going over...I even pulled the car forward to be sure I got the whole wheel and behind the spokes (My O.C.D. kicked in as well)...When I got out on the highway I discovered that I had not done as good of a job as I thought...The old saying is If it shakes your butt the back wheels are out of balance...if it shakes the steering wheel, its in the front... Friends, let me tell you I think that car was literally jumping down the road and shaking my butt and hands mightily at 65 MPH...But my Scotch-Irish background kicked in and instead of turning around I drove on to the next car wash...in West Point (My family says I know where all the area car washes are...) where I redid the wheels (No cops there;)...I turned off Hiway 61 at Wever and then drove 55 mph to West Point and the shake wasnt too bad... After I left West Point and as I sped up to 65 mph on Hiway 218 I discovered that I still had a little bit of mud on the front...Then resignation kicked in...I reasoned that I was going to drive back over 3.5 miles of muddy gravel road to get home and it would probably even out anyway... Of course the little bit of wobble kept my attention on the way home from D-town...particularly since I came home by way of Stronghurst, Illinois (I needed to see my chiropractor) Had a productive day at the church as well, Sundays service is well in hand and I got the Mid Winter swim party arranged (March 1st BTW...Comfort Inn Ft. Madison 1-4 PM swimming, pizza, (Pepperoni, Cheese, Sausage/Canadian Bacon) and beverages all provided...) I also got a couple of other little tasks I needed to accomplish done... But the BEST part of my adventurous day was when I walked through the door at home and the aroma of the meatloaf and fried potatoes that my sweetie pie made hit my nose...MMMMM--MMMMM...:P BG average so far today is 126...but Im running on a bit of a delayed schedule today because of the late breakfast...still gotta wait for another 1/2 hour to see what damage I did with the WONDERFUL comfort supper I had... By the time I post that last BG number tomorrow it will be 60 DTS ...another nice round number...Have a good one Yall...
