Female Black English professor at Arizona State University crossed a street on campus to avoid construction, got stopped by an AZ cop who demanded to see her papers, and when she questioned him on his right to do this, he slammed her to the street. (See tape from copcam.) Her skirt went up exposing her body in the process. She has been arrested on a felony charge of assault and other charges such as resisting arrest. She kicked the officer in the shin when he was trying to slam her to the street. Bystanders called 911 to report a policeman was being too rough with a pedestrian. The police investigators who reviewed the tape of the incident say the officer acted appropriately.
