Ownership of regional forecast. This requires the use of system (Salesforce) to extract deal data and derive metrics on the forecast. Forward looking regional analysis. This requires the use of sales reports to estimate future performance, market opportunity, gaps, and pipeline health. Sales headcount planning. Working with regional sales director to optimally plan placement of sales headcount to pursue opportunity and achieve growth targets. General Reporting. will own the regional reporting requirements with the view of optimizing the availability and quality of information required by management. Sales Process Management. Understand internal processes such that they are able to assist the sales team with process queries. Answer telephoned, faxed and email inquiries from clients in covered topic areas. Define and conduct ongoing research and analysis either in a specific or multiple areas of expertise. Perform research by reading, networking with clients, vendors and analysts, evaluating and analyzing information and participating in Research Meetings and other activities which comprise the Gartner research process. Produce industry/role-specific research as necessary. Provide sales support by speaking to prospective and existing or new clients via telephone Skills/Requirements Team player Excel, Powerpoint expert Excellent communication skills both written and verbal (English) High level of focus and energy Demonstrable experience / desire to work within a Sales Operations role.
