Female inmates at the San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs Honor Farm made handmade teddy bears for Get On The Bus, which provides kids free transportation to visit their incarcerated parents. GOTB is made possible through a partnership between CDCR and the Center for Restorative Justice Works. Thousands of kids have been able to visit their parents in the programs 15 years of existence. Mothers Day special visiting events were held in May at California Institution for Women, Central California Womens Facility and Folsom Womens Facility. Read more: ow.ly/xbLYT.
