Festival of Lights and Merit 2013 Join us as we celebrate Lord Buddha’s Descent from Tushita at the holy Mahabodhi Stupa with offerings of lights, pujas and prayer flags November 23 – 25 The lights are offered with the extensive light offering prayer composed by Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche. Names and dedications are read out at the Mahabodhi Stupa. The light offerings will be especially dedicated that Lama Zopa Rinpoche may quickly manifest perfect health and live a long and stable life. As well as, of course, His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s long and stable life and the success of all holy activities.
