Festivals like Dahi Handi Ganpati Durga Pooja have lost the flavour of festivity instead all these events have now become Politically Organized show of muscle Power &vulgar display of Black Money causing long traffic snarls,Ambulance ,Passengers getting stuck at stations Airports.Politicians pay to raise huge Pandals and put their Party Banners to lure votres in the forthcoming Election or to Project their false popularity. Any attempt by Public at large is thwarted by these Netas in High courts in the Name of Public Demand only . Recent case in SC against Dahi Handi is a live Example.Thankfully HC of Bombay was firm & their order brought down casualties substantially this year. My above statement can not be contested you can see organisers consuming liquor right behind the Pandals of Durga Puja & Ganpati and groups of hooligans who are paid for Liquor& Petrol during Dahi Handi to create nuisance on the Roads of Bombay
