Few months before my fathers passing on he shared this with me, little did I know he would be no more: 1. Dont walk around with a chip on your shoulder as if the world owes you something. 2. Dont walk around with a victim mentality expecting people to feel sorry for, they wont. 3. Just because people were close to me, dont expect them to be close to you. 4. But always walk with a heart ready to forgive again, love again, embrace again. Been hurt and confused I responded by asking how many times must I forgive again, love again, embrace again. He responded by the day you perfect (which is rare) and the day Jesus stops(which is impossible because he is love). He made me realise that I need to just like I feel that people has hurt me, there are those I hurt as well because of my imperfections. Also that because Jesus love never ends, i should also love endlessly. Its tough but its worthwhile because it brings freedom to your soul.
