FiTBoxing is not only an awesome cardio workout here at Koguryo Martial Arts, but you will learn techniques that can be applied in real self defense scenarios. Best of ALL, because you are training your body to hit hard and hit fast, when it comes time to use it, your body will already be conditioned to respond. Heres a cool example of one the self defense drills we slammed out today in FiTBoxing (see video). The situation is that you are being held from behind by one assailant and confronted by a second. Caitlins using a straight elbow to the ribs and two elbows to the temples to break the grip of attacker 1, then devastates the 2nd attacker with a front kick, drops back to give attacker 1 a backfist / cross combo, and then finishes off attacker 2 with a sidekick to the solar plexus. Nice!!! We threw in some simulated attacks to the front, multi-attackers, evasive stepping and counters, plus.....we burned calories and had a great time the whole night.
