Fiber Festival of New England Comes to West Springfield WEST SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB) — It was fiber products galore at the Eastern States Exposition Saturday, where the 2014 Fiber Festival of New England is being held all weekend. The two-day event, put together in part by the New England Sheep and Wool Growers Association, promotes the use of wool and other natural fibers and their related products. Over 150 vendors from across New England are showing off their work. All sorts of rugs, quilts and blankets, looms and spinning wheels are on display. A unique part of the festival is their fashion show, featuring beautiful hand-made clothing from only wool products. While there is plenty up for sale, exhibitors are also showing off their animals and demonstrating how some of their products are made. The show runs until 3 p.m. Sunday.
