Fibromyalgia: Mind/Body Meaning, Self-Care, and Well-Be-ing Symptoms sometimes begin after a physical trauma, surgery, infection or significant psychological stress….symptoms: tension headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety and depression. Deal with the trauma not the symptoms. Trauma is the cause. Louise Hay - Fibromyalgia is fear showing up as extreme tension due to stress. As you spirit remains locked in fear or under stress for lengthy periods the body will begin to show the physical manifestations of the underlying emotional issues. If it resonates then perhaps you may look at finding new treatments that work at the emotional level. Harboring anger. Affirmations; I am relaxed and safe. I lovingly release the past. I calm my thoughts and it is safe to let go Emotional Health – Nervous system-therapy, talk about feelings, write. Find the hidden anger and fear. Exercise – Posture Work, Yoga, Tai Chi. Meditation – for stress release, prayer. Dietary Changes – Heal the stomach, toxicity and deficiency, avoid chemicals – medicines and food additives/chemicals. Avoid: white flour, sugar, caffeine. Add vitamin D, increase vegetables, fish. Chakras mainly affected: Base Chakra – safety security, grounding, IBS, letting go of fear. Sacral Chakra – relationships, depression, feelings need release, nervous system. Third Eye & Crown Chakra – anxiety, headaches, TMJ connection to divine love and trust. Check with your doctor about medications you may be on that are toxic. Find a Holistic Health practitioner to help with your holistic nutritional choices. Also find a counselor or therapist for emotional healing and/or find a healer to heal any trauma, or chakra work from the energetic level. You can heal your life one step at a time.
