Fiction writers --- the place is real. The event really happened. But the characters in the book are fictitious. However, there are some characters in the book who are prominent figure heads, political figures, and pop culture figures, do you change the names of those people, as well as your main characters? Or do you leave them the same to identify time? What if their character isnt active in the book, but actions portrayed as done by their character are very much in the book and part of the plot? Discussion please?
