Field Course Update: Campbell Ainsworth and Jeff Bush report from the French Immersion Course: We left Paris this morning and arrived at Nevers, and everything has gone smoothly so far. The weather has been fabulous and we took advantage of it by walking all over Paris. Our host families met us here in Nevers at the train station, beaming. When Josh found out who his host brother was, he strode over towards him, shouted out Bonjour! and enveloped the befuddled boy in a bear hug. Mandy and Noah have been writing their counterparts daily for the last two months, and were thrilled to finally meet them in person. We will all meet back together on Monday morning, when the students will observe a French class. At 9 a.m. our students will be grouped into pairs at a local primary school to teach an English lesson. Hope you are all doing well back home. Take care!
