Field Services Manager - Rockdale Lend Lease’s services business is a specialist engineering, construction and asset management contractor, connecting industries and communities with vital infrastructure. The company is responsible for creating, operating and maintaining public and private assets serving millions of people each day. Based out of Rockdale and reporting to the Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all planned and reactive maintenance activities, incident management and support, control hub management and operation, improvement projects, depot management and managing operational maintenance staff. Specific accountabilities include: Undertake the development of plans laying out planned and reactive maintenance works methodology for ITS asset maintenance, implement plans and monitor works for compliance Assist in the preparation of full and complete estimates, works programs and reports Assist in the development of the forward works programme for all planned/reactive maintenance activities and minor improvement works Approve all traffic management plans and LT Joint Venture approach to traffic management. Review, create and implement strategies for the maintenance that increase the efficiencies of field operations Contribute toward the continuous improvement of all aspects of our business systems, policies, procedures and works As assigned, oversee site works involving maintenance, refurbishment, replacement or the installation of existing ITS equipment As assigned, overview all contract activities to ensure the required project/operational objectives are met and implement corrective actions where necessary As assigned, overview the management and administration of sub-contractors and suppliers to ensure works are executed to the satisfaction of the client and in accordance with agreed specifications, terms, conditions and budget Monitor progress and forecasts and compile monthly reports detailing cost, time, safety and environmental aspects including KPI achievement. Report immediately any event which will significantly change previous forecasts Manage the performance of all reporting staff including establishment of clear responsibilities and authorities in accordance with LT Joint Venture performance review procedures. Foster good employee relations. Ensure that team members are properly trained and developed to make their best contribution Ensure works are completed to contract ICMS, the policies of LT Joint Venture are adhered to and legislative To be successful in this role, you will need a tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, business or commerce combined with five years experience in ITS/TCS environments. You will have sound business development and project management skills and be conversant with the commercial, contractual and financial aspects of projects.
