Field Work Available! Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland - TopicsExpress

Field Work Available! Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland is hosting another nest box monitoring event. This December we are holding glider monitoring events, training is provided and no experience is necessary. Monitoring is conducted at various locations around Brisbane (within 35mins drive from the city) and only takes half a day. By monitoring nest boxes, we are able to map the population distribution of the gliders and install new nest boxes to link fragmented populations to help contribute to their long term survival. Sessions Available: Saturday 13/12 (Morning or Afternoon) Sunday 14/12 (Morning or Afternoon) Saturday 20/12 (Morning or Afternoon) Sunday 21/12 (Morning or Afternoon) Saturday 03/01 (Morning or Afternoon) Sunday 04/01 (Morning or Afternoon) We have limited places so if you are interested in attending any of the sessions please send an email to [email protected] to register your interest. You are more than welcome to attend multiple sessions. We are currently prioritizing the weekends of 13th/14th and 20th/21st of December, however if most volunteers are available on the weekend of 3rd/4th of January we will add this to our main monitoring dates. Thanks guys! P.s. you may get this message in multiple groups, sorry about that!
