Fifteen hours later I am again lying in bed going over in my head the day and what a great time we all had. The rolls raised, errr, rose to the occasion, the pork belly was amazing with the baked beans and the pups sat expectantly at our feet praying desperately to their dog gods that errant morsels would rain down on them. We spent the afternoon with a house full of great friends, eating sumptuous food and simply enjoying each others company. My friend Jean was here for the weekend and she was such a sweet helper in the kitchen. Anyway, all the dishes are washed, the linens already out of the dryer, folded and put away and looking to the next couple days. I sent most of the leftovers home with folks but nonetheless was left with way too much...especially cheesecake. First world problems, huh?
