Fifty firefighters and volunteers, including 32 riders and 18 support volunteers, will leave Roma tomorrow and make the 835 kilometre journey to Brisbane for the annual QFES #Bike4Burns charity bike ride. The ride, now in its eighth year, will take seven days (14-20 May) to complete and will raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation. To date the charity ride has raised $308,500 for the Children’s Hospital Foundation to specifically put towards burn technology research and development.
