Fifty years ago, PSNJ/NJT received the new V700-series GMC new-look suburban buses. The first 10 were glass-top sightseeing buses for guided tours in Manhattan but were also used on route 61 (North Bergen-New York). They operated from the Union City garage. The other 90 were regular suburbans and were divided to the following garages: V710-53 Oradell (routes 165, 166, 167, and 168) V754-69 Market Street, Paterson (routes 191 and 192) V770-84 Hilton (route 107) V785-99 South Jersey (routes 27, 47, 103, 105, 113, 115) Bus V714 was photographed on route 166 at Cresskill.
