Fighting against injustice in a spiritual manner Dear Friends, Namaskar Here is something special from someone who loves you: In many cases, parents do not allow their children to acquire higher education. Children, however, think that they must study further and become economically viable for both their parents and themselves. There are situations in life where credulous teenage girls are involved in affairs. Later on, they are blackmailed by their lovers and induce them to continue immorality. It has also been observed that in many cases parents just marry off their daughters without their consent and thus practically get rid of them. The helpless daughters do not react and undergo unacceptable situations and risk lifelong problems. In many business-establishments, the powerful proprietors and controlling managers force their employees to undertake questionable practices. Some go to the extent of getting produced fake medicines and substandard food-items. In some Govt. departments, there could be powerful authorities who expect their subordinates to join them in the misuse of public funds and syndicate with them for corrupt practices in many questionable manners. In politics, some leaders at the helms of affairs try to persuade their party workers to go in for unpatriotic activities involving direct and indirect violence. This the leaders do for their petty political vested interests. The question arises what should the poor dependents and subordinates do in the face of coercive tactics of the powerful persons. Should deserving children obey their parents and discontinue further studies? Should the erring young girls cooperate with the blackmailing ex-lovers? Should daughters tolerate the most unacceptable life-partners chosen by their parents? Should workers continue participating in manufacturing dangerous or substandard products? What should junior party-workers do if their leaders force them to do anti-national or anti-social actions? It is here that the spiritual personalities have to be consulted. They will surely come out with a very pragmatic counseling. Without threatening or blackmailing the delinquent people, they would adopt a human approach. Their first step will be to spiritually empower the weak sufferers. Once the persons-in-trouble get awakened morally and spiritually, the circumstantial scenario would look different. Firstly, they will become internally determined that they won’t become a party to wrong doings any more. This courage will be continuously strengthened with the blessings of the spiritual personalities. The youth aspiring to study further will try to convince his parents about his ambitions and objectives. Teachers and educated relations will support him. He can even find earn-while-you-learn opportunities. The teenage girl’s courage and self-confidence will repel the so-called lover. She may also take her parents into confidence. The girl being pushed into an unacceptable marriage will be morally enabled to frankly tell her parents that she wants to become economically self-sufficient before marriage. Similarly, the subordinate worker being coaxed into the production of dangerous products can tell in an unthreatening manner to be posted somewhere else. He can also arrange to get some other job. The junior Govt. employee will not fall in the trap. The priority of his undisputed reputation will become most important to him. His low profile with a high morale will be enough to save him from unwanted allurements. The morally strong junior political worker may leave the unethical political party without any hue and cry. The spiritual personalities also empower their followers to humbly refuse to accept any incentive. They know that avarice and burning needs induce the junior people to willingly walk into the trap of allurements. Therefore, they arouse one’s spiritual self-confidence which makes him strong enough to escape falling into the ditch. It has also been observed that in many cases, the spiritual personalities themselves go to the delinquent employers and officers and advise them to discover the power of diverting their resources towards ethical business which will be beneficial to them in the real sense. They also motivate honest and ethical subordinates to counsel their superiors to go in for goodness which could be more productive and profitable in the long run. The workers are empowered by their spiritual mentors to convince their employers that the same technological manufacturing infrastructure could also be used for creating standard and safe products. If subordinates insist on ethics, their determination is capable enough to change the mind of superiors. The spiritual personalities induce their followers to throw away their cowardice and fear. Thus humble and unassuming fearlessness itself becomes a power which could move powerful bad people to leave questionable practices and join ethical ones. The time, energy and money spent on bad things is got diverted to doing good things. The moral courage required to refuse doing bad things always emanates from spiritual personalities.
