Fighting for truth is taking a stand against lies. Sooner or later - TopicsExpress

Fighting for truth is taking a stand against lies. Sooner or later the lies and scams will touch most, cost much, affect all. I choose truth. I know a wee bit about this unfortunately, and those who know me, understand. This problem is only going to grow until folks are held accountable. When People Magazine covers it, its wide spread! As a decade of war winds down, (or does it?) and the use of contractors has grown prolifically, there are many who have been close enough to talk the talk, even if they have not walked the walk. There are some whom are not satisfied with who they are and what they have done, whom would seek to claim that they have not earned and take away from those whom did and profit off the sacrifices of those who served, risked, lost and their loved ones who suffered through all that with them. Those whom steal valor for their own lack of honor, do far more harm than may seem at first blush. They fool friends, family and loved ones and destroy trust once discovered. They erode the ability of the public to help those whom really earned it and need it as folks get burned and withdraw support for fear of being burned again and as such, the real heroes and their families lose much needed help. This is wrong on every level. Until there is greater accountability, there will be more impropriety. Ask your leaders and law enforcement to make more rules and fines for those whom would lie for gain. Keep Honor and Integrity as part of the American way, by keeping frauds and charlatans at bay. See the article from the Blaze, they bust a poser out. Its up to the people to patrol these swindling scammers, until the laws catch up. Thanks to all those out there fighting for honor against stolen valor. There are many sites dedicated to helping the public by outting these folks, but it is not enough. Until there are real punishments, those who steal valor, know no shame and will keep changing their game until the price of lying is too high and the pain for being caught too great. people/article/military-posers-an-episdemic-says-soldier
