Fiji are poised to win a fourth straight Pacific Netball Series crown after Samoa were stunned by Papua New Guinea in Apia on Wednesday night. Coming off a first round loss to Fiji, the Pepes muscled up on defence, forcing Samoa into a number of errors. The visitors led at the end of every quarter and despite easing off in the final period still ran out comfortable 56-48 winners. Meanwhile a big third quarter inspired the Fiji Pearls to a 60-41 win over the Cook Islands.
