File under: Sports,Bionic Thumb,and the old man. So, after supper last night its game on time. It has cooled off outside so Fuzz comes in to keep me company over night. First, small quilt applied to boney legs for circulation. Next, gatorade at the ready on table, 3rd cat encamped on lap. Then, Big Pappy and his duck dynasty boys take on St.Louey. Good so far, bionic channel changing thumb resting. Now, 8ish rolling around and time for Panthers. So, bionic thumb is warming up, checking back and forth between games. Now, both games in full swing, thumb whirring, timing perfect updates at each commercial(depending on game). Wait, wha happenin? Nodding? Yep, accompanied with head bobbling. Not a good sign. Fuzz not helping since she is comatose and producing cat snoring sounds and looking zonked. Now its getting serious, brief sleep induced unconsciousness, as the bionic thumb motors on. Snap too and Newton has just slid into second...ah,,ok,,zzz Head jerk and yes Big Puppy hits one out and Boston ahead by a safety. Glennon retaliates throwing a perfect strike to second base for a 6 yard gain!...zzz Bionic thumb doing its thing, eyelids a full closure. Fuzz stirs and Im awake in time to see Tolbert bowl over the St L catcher only to be called by because Rivera is holding moving the ball back to the first base line...then, lights out for good. And so, after both games over, Fuzz wakes up which wakes me up; she goes outside for a potty break, I wonder who won what, drink a little gatorade and decide,well maybe I can stay awake long enhough to watch Hitchcock.....
