Fill Your Sleeves Out with Board Presses These are a solid triceps movement and also works on building lock out strength for the bench press. We use these primarily for a few reasons: 1. Bench press lockout strength 2. Triceps Hypertrophy 3. Minimise range in the bench press for those with shoulder injuries/pathologies. Limiting the range can keep some individuals in a pain free ranges and out of the bottom portion which can be the most stressful. 5. Variety and rotation on maximal strength exercises Here is Ryans 3 board presses at 90kg set for 6 reps, and he finished with 100x5.
