Film Acting Class: Acting on the stage and acting on film is very different. Camera technique is taught to help the actor bridge the relationship between the stage and film. Acting on the stage is about what you say and acting on film is about what you dont say. An actor must learn how to act according to the stage theyre on. A picture is worth 1000 words, so ultimately less is more. The actor will learn how to modulate the imagination, boldness, risk-taking, and the willingness to fail that one learns on the stage so that they can be just as effective, and no less evaluated, on the smaller stage of film.
