Film Processing For over 100 years the screen-film system has been successfully used to record diagnostic information from radiographic images. The film once exposed to X-ray needs to be revealed in a chemical process to be analyzed in an appropriate light box, and subsequently be stored in a separate file. The processing should be performed in a darkroom. Conventional processing can be done by two way: Automatic and Manual The automated way is performed by a processor comprising a plurality of sequential processing tanks through which the film is transported by means of four sets of racks, one for each tank.
