Film Processing For over 100 years the screen-film system has been successfully used to record diagnostic information from radiographic images. The film once exposed to X-ray needs to be revealed in a chemical process to be analyzed in an appropriate light box, and subsequently be stored in a separate file. The processing should be performed in a darkroom. Conventional processing can be done by two way: Automatic and Manual The automated way is performed by a processor comprising a plurality of sequential processing tanks through which the film is transported by means of four sets of racks, one for each tank. The four racks match the four phases of processing radiographic film: developing, fixing, washing and drying
