Film makers! Videographers! (who ride motorbikes...?) Weve come up with a song that satirises the whole bikie hysteria thing thats been going on at the moment. If case you hadnt heard, people who ride bikes are now guilty by association. Law abiding bike riders are being pulled over and hassled by police. Anyone who owns a tattoo parlour has to give over their fingerprints, including my cousin who was a fine artist before she got into tattooing and has never been charged with a crime. And now Ive discovered that people are actually getting really scared and suspecting others of being dangerous bikies without much evidence, ie These young guys down the road from me sometimes have parties and some of them ride motorbikes. Im really scared. I think they might be bikies! Yep, Ive actually heard people saying that sort of thing. No joke. So Ive gotten a bunch of my muso friends together to record this tongue-in-cheek song. And we want to make an awesome film clip in the hope that it will be Australias next big novelty hit (with a serious subject behind it). Or go viral at the very least. We already have a plan for the video. Now we just need some videographers to come and film/edit the thing. Were doing this all on no budget, asking people to donate their time and resources to stand up for civil liberties.
