Final Notice of an Annual General Meeting Members of EBBASA are hereby finally notified of the Annual General Meeting of the Elite Boerboel Breed Association of Southern Africa to be held from 10h00 on 5 October 2013 at Function Hall, Zambesi View Retirement Village, corner of Sixth road and Dr. Swanepoel drive, Montana, Pretoria. Members were invited to submit topics for discussion on the agenda on or before 4 September 2013. Such topics were included at the discretion of the Executive of the Board. Members were informed that 2013 is not an election year as we had a full Board election at the 2012 AGM. Only one elected position became vacant but the Executive of the Board resolved to not fill the position at the upcoming AGM seen in the light of the current negotiations between the Boerboel Organisations. The Board would however require the assistance of ordinary members willing to be co-opted onto the Board to assist with specific tasks. If there are any members who might not be able to attend the AGM personally, such members may apply for Proxy votes from the EBBASA office. Proxy vote forms were issued to some members and the completed forms were submitted to the appointed Polling Officer - Mr Fourie Kirtzinger. Lede is uitgenooi om addisionele punte van bespreking vir die Agenda voor te stel. Sulke items is bygevoeg op die Agenda. Lede is in kennis gestel dat 2013 nie ‘n verkiesingsjaar vir EBBASA is nie aangesien die huidige Raadslede tydens die 2012 AJV verkies is. Daar het een vakature ontstaan maar die Uitvoerende lede van die Raad het aanbeveel dat die pos, gesien in die lig van die huidige stand van onderhandelinge, nie gevul moet word nie. Lede sal egter gevra word om die Raad by te staan as gekoopteerde lede om spesifieke take te vervul. Indien daar enige lede is wat die Algemene Jaarvergadering nie persoonlik kan bywoon nie, mag sulke lede aansoek doen by die EBBASA kantoor om ‘n Genomineerde stem uit te bring. Genomineerde stem dokumente is aan aansoekers uitgereik en is oorhandig aan die aangestelde Stem Dag Beampte - Mnr Fourie Kirtzinger.
