Final summation. As this adventure comes to an end I just want to say thanks to all the people I have met on the way. Whether it was a ride when I was broken down, take me in for the night, a invite or just a point in the right direction. Also thanks or the prayers because there were points where I had no idea what to do and things just fell into place. For those who joined and followed the trip and lived as Pam said, living vicariously hope you enjoyed the adventure. Whats next? Across Canada, Alaska to Chilli (minus western coast of USA.), across town? Who knows, all I know is that I wont be jumping on my bike right aways. Facts: Cycled- 2798km (1739Miles) Time- total 20 days. 18 days cycling. Mechanical- 15 broken spokes, 4 flats, 3 broken derailleurs, 2 Tires, 1 derailleur hanger, 1 new chain, 1 tired cyclist. I think thats it. Transportation-LRTx4, 2 taxis, 2 Flights,1 Amtrak, 1 Bus, 1 hitchhike, 1 bicycle. Cost- never kept track haha New friends- priceless :)
