Final wordcount post (for awhile): So after 11 days I have about 25000 words written for this novel thats due on December 1st. Of those maybe 3000 are polished in any way. Tonight Ill revise a bit of writing I did as a sample/first chapter for this book when I sent in a proposal (it is no longer the first chapter at all, of course), and then Ill revise my outline. Not sure How I feel about this wordcount for eleven days work. Its not terrible but it certainly isnt the 40,000-50,000 I was hoping for. Sample sentence from today: Harold didnt go in for hypnosis or any of the other usual tools of UFO and abduction research because, unlike his colleagues, Harold didnt pretend to be a scientist or to be seeking objective truth.youtu.be/-lgkKnnApoI
