Finally. First blog in 3.5 months. I might tinker a bit more, but I am satisfied. Its long but undemanding. Memoir not criticism. Though a brief note on Jeff Koons exhibit and the Jed Perl piece Gary Merritt kindly posted on my wall. I think you have to be not only brilliant and teaching at a fancy university to write for the NYRB but really mean. The blog I put on back burner--75% complete--is not much longer but considerably heavier fare. Swim time!
