Finally, MY DREAM CAME TRUE! The official launch of my organization AAA (Action Against Apathy) took place today at the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association National Headquarters. I really don’t know how to express myself, but the only thing I can say to those who got involved at the launch, both directly and indirectly, THANK YOU! Especially, the immense support given by the US Embacy in Colombo and Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association, is indeed greatly felt and appreciated. I know that all of us together, can engage with a spirit of solidarity and cooperation to make a positive difference in the lives of young people, regarding human rights, democracy, good governance, the rule of law and social justice. To all my dearest and awesomest members of the AAA executive board, the amazing and truly heartfelt contribution by our lovely bunch of fun loving and truly dedicated executive committee, the truly amazing moderator and the panelists who opened the eyes of young people at todays event by engaging in a truly meaningful and mind blowing panel discussion titled “post war Sri Lanka: challenges and opportunities”, and all the incredible people who came to attend my event, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! If not for you all, the dream I realized today, would have been a distant dream beyond my reach. Thank you all for believing in me! Thank you all for believing and sharing my dream! Let’s keep up the spirit of AAA! Together, let’s change the world for the better!
