Finally! This was intended to be a blog post but I am quickly learning that life with two children doesnt always allow for you to get things done the way youd like so a fb post will suffice. 2nd disclaimer - there aint nothin cute about that pic! But...cute or not, I completed my first full workout since the beginning of September. Insanity Max:30 cardio challenge and I have so much to say about it! First of all, anybody and i do mean anybody can do this work out. Youre going to work like you never have before but you can do it. The modifier is fan-flippin-tastic. Not only that but you can block out the modifier, as you can see on my screen so that you have her pictured the entire workout. I modified every move, never left the ground, and felt like I could do the moves successfully but it was far from easy. (Mind you, I am 6 weeks post c section in regards to my physical limitations) 2nd order of business. Shaun T is the most motivating individual youll ever workout with. I absolutely love love love Chalene, Tony Horton, Autumn and the other trainers but there Is something so special about Shaun that cant be put into words. You just have to feel him. Well..... Wed all like to feel him. Haha but feel his energy is what I really mean ;) ;) And lastly. I finished this workout in tears. For years. No, for my entire life I have battled my weight. I tried and tried and started and stopped more times than I can count. In 2010 I made up my mind for good and never looked back. Since 2010 and up until this past September, I had never missed more than 5 days in a row of working out. This was my first workout in 5 months after not being able to workout at the end of my pregnancy and post baby. The pre-2010 krystle would have let a year or more go by before trying again after 5 months. But the 2014 krystle jumped back in with all 4 feet and took on Insanity Max 30.. was it pretty? Heck no. Did I do every move to perfection? Heck to the no. But did I finish all 30 mins? Betcha bottom dollar. And that was a huge realization that this truly truly is my life now and I dont have to fear ever returning to being an obese food addict and couch potato because its no longer a part of who I am.
