Finally Uhuru Mt Kenya supporters Feel the pain of FAILING ECONOMY ! *************************************************************** Finally, Uhuru key online soldiers are seeing the light, and seem to agree that everything is so Wrong with our loving presidents government, insecurity has hit high heavens as tourism takes a noose dive ! what next? continue parroting Raila Odinga’s name as the cause of all trouble even when it has become clear who is causing all the misery? Here are two posts made today by the two Jubilee lead bloggers. 1) Wahome Thuku: Those of you familiar with tourism in the Coast of Kenya, should tell me if this is a normal low season or whether things have become this bad. For hotels at the prime North Coast, its a total business shut down. The ones beautiful beaches are Co-m-p-le-te-ly vacated. I know how it has always been and this is not the same. Watu wa Pwani, what are you doing to yourselves? Why have you decided to completely ruin your food basket? You had enough for everyone of you, why did you decided to let afew spoil everything? You build this industry painstakingly over a long time, why have you decided to ruin it in a season? And when its gone, what next? 2) Pauline Njooroge: We all have to admit that tourism is not doing too well and this morning I am so sad to learn that Kenya could lose its number one position as the worlds largest horticulture exporter as Europe and America turn to Ethiopia and India. Considering that Africa only accounts for 3% of the world trade and I doubt that Asia can barely compensate for the lost numbers, do you think our hostile relationship with the West is affecting our economy negatively? Should we consider mending our bridges or we can somehow manage without them? What is the way forward? What are the alternatives if we do away with the West? Join the conversation!
