Finally able to get het out of isolet for a few min to feed and hold her. She is off oxygen, still needs fluids and antibiotics.the tape they used for the nasal cannula left her face tore up and red. She is bruised from head to toe since she delivered quickly. Tonight she will be tested for jaundice since she was only 35 Weeks. If she is positive for it she will be put under lights for server Days. Her glucose has been low and she doesnt want yo take her prime supplement. Hoping I can be allowed to start nursing tomorrow. Today she lost 2oz and she is down to six lbs. she is a big busby for the NICU she is. 18 inches long and really long fingers and toed. She has a little bit of dark hair. If she could of made it full term she would hAve been over 8 lbs. we are exhausted from traveling back and forth to the NIcU, classes we gave to take, make funeral arrangements, and doctor check ups. Please continue to keep us in your prayers they are working and we can feel them.
