Finally, able to get the final boulders out of the new iris bed, got a truck full of dirt ready to move into the new garden. Wheelbarrow by wheelbarrow, will be hauling the topsoil over, mixing with the compost, planting each new iris, and lining the new garden edges with some of the more choice stones. What a project. Got up early to do some in house chores (always behind this time of the year), and to get some photos of the pre-planting site and the boulders. One was so heavy, I had to get help, volunteered by the painter who was here to paint the deck rails. Have a wonderful Sunday, keeping fingers crossed they get the Yosemite fires under control.
