Finally after almost 3 months since we adopted her, an update on Nala: Nala (we kept her name) is a perfect dog, especially for us. She is so well behaved and sweet. She doesnt bark, doesnt chew, doesnt jump on people... Shes really calm. But obviously she had a rough past, because shes scared of almost all things (except thunder, go figure). She doesnt even know how to play, how to fetch, or what to do with toys at all, as if she never got to see them before. We are trying to expose her to as many situations, dogs and people as we can. And, despite the fact that she already learned sit, stay, and shake, she has her first training session tonight. We love her so much. We looked every weekend for two years for the perfect dog, and we finally found her. It was meant to be, because it turns out she was born on our wedding date one year earlier!
