Finally back from Luxembourg World Championships..finished fourth out of six teams. Blown out in bronze medal game by home team Luxembourg. Bulgaria win gold with N.Korea taking silver. The 3 top teams at another level. They have some pro players and get paid to play in Elite leagues in Europe. N.Korea play with desperation. Not hard to figure out why. Our players have to pay to play. We do get some government support and private help which is appreciated. The other teams in a class by themselves. It wad a disappointing ending to tournament. We could not contain in d-zone and made same mistakes over and over again. Could not score any goals. We could play close for one period the right in the tank after that. Too soft very little grit. On the plus sign both our goalies are strong with one winning goalie of the tournament. We were also voted best passing team..unfortunatley it was to the other teams!!
