Finally barak obama has arrived in india. His air force one plane landed on indian soil at 9.38 sharp and came out of the plane at 10 as prescheduled. The prime minister of india narendra modi, keeping aside the protocol norms reached palam airport and welcomed him with enthusiam on red carpet stretched on the tarmac just few minutes before the landing . The pm hugged his american counterpart very enthusiastically and waved together towards the camera from the tarmac. The union was too passionate and meaningful. The visit of president obama assumes tremendous significance in terms of the renewal and strengthening of bilateral relatons between the two important countries of the world, one, the most powerful nation and another the largestdemocracy of the world. The issues of major significance which india needs to sortout with usa during this visit are destruction of terror camps in pakistan, talks on liabiliy clause with regard to indo-us nuclear pact, building of investment climate in india , strengthening of business and economic relations with usa and signing of various other bilateral mutually beneficial pacts between the two countries. The issue of h one job visa will also figure prominently. Though, presidents of various democracies of the world have been visiting india in the past but this visit holds prominence inview of the first ever american presidents indian visit on its republik day function as the chief guest. India will, i think, use this opportunity to impress upon president obama to chastise the pakistanis to kill the terror campson their soils which are posing direct treat to india.
