Finally began to use my triloom. We have it set up in the - TopicsExpress

Finally began to use my triloom. We have it set up in the workshop, and Annette wove the first shawl. (Picture below is of the shawl and Annette, just as she first took it off the loom.) Today I got about 13 picks done -- thats 26 rows --- continuous weaving is symmetrical, so Im counting 2 rows as one pick. Being the nerd I am, this is what Id doing: Bridget picked a skein from a bag without looking, and each color was assigned to a digit. So I have 10 colors, for the digits 0 through 9. Im weaving pi. We went to the million digits of pi site, and I wrote down the first 120 or so. I used black for the decimal point. So each pick represents the digit of pi, in order. For example, the first pick was light green (3) then black for the decimal point, then gold (for 1), then sky blue (4) etc etc. Below are the skeins and assigned colors. The shawl looks good so far, next workshop day Ill take a picture of my progress. Next: the digits of e!!!!!
