Finally finished a home / yard project ive been working on. Or as Liz Hardenbrook calls it my zen garden. We have an area between the house and outdoor patio that i hated so finally i was moved to do something. It proved to be therapeutic work. From getting the creek-rock from various streams, picking out the stones for the dry stream and eventually snowballing into a cacti/succulent and functional herb garden... Every plant in it is cold hardy for our climate and fairly easy to sustain. (Well see) Sage, balm, parsley, thyme (german&lemon), spearmint, peppermint and sweet mint... Smells pretty good coming out that back door now! Here be some before and after pics.
