Finally finished watching 12 Years a Slave! Since I make it a point..never to watch or support Slave Period Movies..it was pretty difficult to watch! The fact that it was/is a TRUE STORY..told/written by Solomon himself..is the Reason Everyone must watch it! Just remember..while they show & tell about the slaves..at that same time..Moors were founding..designing..building..advising..and even acting as government officials..on this land..in this Country! Those who didnt know themselves to be of Moorish Decent..Believed they were Niggers..and fell under the laws of the land! Moors were protected..under the Moroccan Treaty of Peace and Friendship signed in 1786 & is the oldest Treaty..still in existence & being honored by America..to this very day!
