Finally found some time to work on this surveillance drone model in C4D. I used the X-Men plane as a reference image for the body. It doesnt look much like the plane now though. The background is based on the inside of a cooling tower of a power plant. I added lights to make it seem more like a service tunnel and also to add a little contrast to in the background. The blue and red glowing parts of the drone initially looked really dim when I rendered it from C4D. To make it glow, I had to isolate the parts I wanted to glow by making it all white, while the rest of the drone were all black. By making the selected parts all white, it makes it easy for After Effects to pinpoint which specific parts will be affected when I created the glow effect. Render time for each of these images is around 30 minutes.
