Finally getting back into the swing of things here at home as I was luckily able to make it home in a decent manner after my travel issues. This past weekend at Maximus R/C Raceway was no less than spectacular as I was able to repeat my feat from last year with a double TQ and Win in the 1/8 scale and Pro4 class with my MIP Pro4mance and Pro8 vehicles. Congrats to my team mates as well Carl Doran and Jim Edmonds on the awesome performance in Pro4 with their MIP vehicles. Also congrats to one of my goof ball and ultra fast team mates Justin Walts on the stellar performance in 1/8 with the Pro8 on 2s (also Sam Langer was wicked fast as well good job bud, time for a pro8 though ;) ) Also first time running mod buggy on this track and I ran the Schumacher KF and being that it was a very loose track and a front motor car I was able to pull off a 7th overall in the main, not to shabby. It was an adventure hanging out with the likes of Travis Amezcua, Carson Wernimont, and CJ Greaves with all the shenanigans from my bedroom completely set up in the garage to Mr. Turtle in my Lipo sack and then carefully placed in Carsons Backpack on a plane trip home to cali ;) . I hope that me being able to attend this event made a difference as I was able to help out quite a few local racers and being that Maximus as an organization was able to help alot of the pros make it up shows that they are committed to bring all the racers good competition and factory support. Special thanks to Heath and Pete Harkins of Maximus for all the support on transportation and somewhere to lay my head at night.
